Alessandra Mangialardi

Alessandra is an avid supporter of mental health and wellbeing through a variety of community and academic outlets. Her work with The Nightingale Centre for Grieving Children and Families has ignited her passion for community and peer-to-peer support work. She is also a crisis responder with Kids Help Phone where she works one-on-one with individuals to bring them from a hot moment to a cool calm. Academically, Alessandra received her Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph with a major in psychology and a minor in neuroscience. Alessandra is also involved in research projects through the University of Guelph and through community clinical partners. Her passion for supporting vulnerable and high-risk youth and families inspires her research, clinical and community endeavours. Alessandra’s core belief in the importance of empathy, education and connection shines through in all she is a part of.
