Beth Graham Burrows
A veteran human resources professional, Beth has a passion for coaching and promoting wellness in the workplace. Her recent educational pursuits have focused on grief and bereavement counselling. Beth went back to school to obtain her Thanatology Certificate in Grief and Bereavement Studies at the University of Western Ontario, and obtained the Children’s Grief and Bereavement Certificate Program through the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health Learning Institute. Beth has led grief and bereavement groups with the Philip Aziz Centre for Hospice Care / Emily’s House Children’s Hospice in Toronto as well as with The Nightingale Centre for Grieving Children, Youth & Families. Beth enjoys her volunteer role with Campfire Circle, working with children and families managing a childhood cancer diagnosis. She also worked with Friendship in Action with groups managing non-death related losses. Beth believes that one of the greatest gifts in the face of change, transition and loss is finding your story and trusting your own precious voice. It is a privilege for her to be a companion to those stories.
