Claire “Bear” Barron

Claire Barron began her training as a group facilitator while working as a teacher at Upper Canada College over 25 years ago. She has lead groups with Friendship in Action, Strong Minds Strong Kids Psychology Canada and The Nightingale Centre for Grieving Children, Youth & Families. Claire has written social emotional learning curricula and designed programs for many organizations. After years of leading Talk Listen Connect groups, Claire is convinced that support groups are the best way to help people feel less alone. Claire has had the privilege of training over 50 facilitators in the Talk Listen Connect model. After completing a B.A. degree at Middlebury College in Vermont, Claire earned her M.Ed from OISE. In addition, Claire is a trained Life Coach and has her certificate in Children’s Grief and Bereavement. Claire welcomes the opportunity to introduce you to TLC to help you.
